OBJECTIVES

1. Student leaders demonstrate social and emotional competencies by emulating positive values
like respect, positive self-concept and effective communication.

2. Through an action-based learning and coaching process, student leaders begin to discover their
potential, develop positive relationships with their peers and encourage a caring community
amongst students and teachers.

3. Student leaders learn to create a safe and interesting environment to develop student support
and leadership within the school.





PARTICIPANTS WILL ALSO:

A. Develop an awareness of group dynamics, problem-solving, communication, and the capacity to relate effectively with others.

B. Discover learning styles and effective conflict management.

C. Be made aware of how to meet the needs of others through an interactive needs analysis.

D. Experience the 5 basic coaching stages: Relate, Reflect, Refocus, Resource and Review.
